HSC and Equivalent Exam Results 2025 to Be Published Today

The results of the 2025 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published today, Thursday (October 16). At 10:00 a.m., the results will be available on the websites of the respective education boards, at all examination centers, educational institutions, and through SMS. The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee confirmed the information in a press release issued last Tuesday (October 13).


According to the notice, examinees will be able to access their results in three different ways. This year, a total of 1,251,111 students appeared in the examinations under 11 education boards.

The press release stated that the results of the HSC and equivalent examinations under the Boards of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board, and Bangladesh Technical Education Board will be published at 10:00 a.m. on October 16 through the respective websites, all exam centers, educational institutions, and via SMS.


How Students Can Access Their Results

1.
By visiting the Result section of their respective education board’s website and entering the EIIN number of their institution. Institutions can download their result sheets in the same way by providing their EIIN in the Result section of any board website.

2.
Individual students can collect their results from their own educational institutions through the combined website of the education boards or their respective board’s website.

3.
Students can also get their results via SMS by sending a text to 16222 after the results are published.
Format:
HSC <space> Board <space> Roll <space> Year
Example:
HSC Dha 123456 2024 → send to 16222

The press release mentioned that results will not be available at the education boards, the Ministry of Education, or newspaper offices.


Exam Schedule Summary

This year’s HSC and equivalent examinations began on June 26, the written exams concluded on August 19, and the practical exams were held between August 21 and 31. A total of 1,251,111 students appeared under 11 education boards.


Re-Scrutiny of HSC Results 2025

Students wishing to apply for re-scrutiny must follow nine specific rules issued by the Dhaka Education Board. Applications for re-scrutiny will be accepted from October 17 to 23, 2025.


Steps to Apply for Re-Scrutiny

  1. Visit the designated website, enter your roll and registration number, select your education board from the dropdown menu, and click Submit.

  2. Provide your mobile number. An SMS will be sent to this number once the re-scrutinized result is published.

  3. On the next screen, your subject-wise results will appear. Select one or more subjects for re-scrutiny and click “Pay Fee”.

  4. The fee for each paper is 150 BDT. For double-paper subjects (e.g., Bangla 1st & 2nd Paper), both must be applied for together.

  5. The total payable amount will be displayed. Payment can be made via bKash, Nagad, Sonali Seba, DBBL Rocket, or Teletalk SIM. Detailed payment steps can be found in the Help section of the portal.

  6. After paying the fee, return to the application portal and click “Submit”.

  7. If you wish to add more subjects after submitting, you can do so the same way without re-entering your mobile number.

  8. You can modify your application before payment by clicking “Delete” to remove subjects (for which the fee has not yet been paid). Once payment is made, no changes or cancellations are allowed, and fees are non-refundable.

  9. Manual (offline) applications will not be accepted for re-scrutiny of HSC results 2025.
